THOUGHTS ABOUT PAINTING

I took out this older painting of mine again because something had to be fixed on it. I told it, you don’t have to be afraid, it won’t hurt, I’m doing it for you to be better.
I am with my paintings like with my little son, who is over fifty years old, but even today, when we meet and I see his slipped tie, I adjust it for him as I would years ago.
My paintings have to stay with me, I keep my eyes on them, like a mother with her children for the rest of her life. Even if they leave, we want to know their fate, where they are, how they are.
